Serving papers in Lauderhill
The garden apartments and condominium complexes, the single-family streets east of University Drive, and the shops along State Road 7 and Oakland Park Boulevard.
Lauderhill is in central Broward County, the 17th Judicial Circuit, so every job here goes to one of our process servers certified in that circuit.
Big complexes, many buildings
Much of Lauderhill lives in large complexes with dozens of buildings and their own internal numbering. The building number or letter matters as much as the unit: send the complete address exactly as the lease or the papers show it. When a complex has a leasing office, we ask only whether a building is where we think it is; the office cannot accept papers for a tenant.
Evictions
For landlords, we serve eviction notices and eviction summonses on the unit, and we record the date, time and manner in the affidavit. Under Florida Statutes 48.183, an eviction summons can be posted on the unit only after an attempt to serve it in person has failed.
The closest courthouse is the West Regional Courthouse, 100 North Pine Island Road, Plantation. Circuit and county civil cases are filed at the Broward County Courthouse, 201 SE 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale. See our guide to service of process in Broward.
