Serving papers in Deerfield Beach
The oceanfront and the pier area, the neighborhoods along Hillsboro Boulevard and Federal Highway, and the large age-restricted condominium communities west of I-95.
Deerfield Beach is the northernmost city on the Broward coast, in the 17th Judicial Circuit, so every job here goes to one of our 17th Circuit certified process servers.
The Palm Beach County line
The Hillsboro Canal is the county line. North of it is Boca Raton, in Palm Beach County and the 15th Judicial Circuit, and our servers are not certified there. Addresses close to the line are easy to mix up, so we check the county for every address before we accept the job, and we tell you right away if an address is on the Palm Beach side.
Large 55+ condominium communities
West Deerfield has some of the biggest age-restricted condo communities in Broward, with many buildings, a gate and a security office. Building and unit numbers matter: send the full address with the building letter or number. Florida Statutes section 48.031(7) requires a gated residential community, including a condominium association or a cooperative, to grant a process server unannounced entry to serve a resident. Many residents are older, and we serve with patience and plain language; we do not explain the case or give legal advice.
Deerfield Beach is home to the North Regional Courthouse, 1600 West Hillsboro Boulevard, Deerfield Beach. Circuit and county civil cases are filed at the Broward County Courthouse, 201 SE 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale. See our guide to service of process in Broward.
