Serving papers in Miramar
East Miramar, the neighborhoods along Miramar Parkway, the gated communities in the west, the business parks near I-75, and nearby West Park and Pembroke Park.
Miramar is in southern Broward County, which is the 17th Judicial Circuit, so every Miramar job is assigned to one of our process servers certified in that circuit.
You order the same way as anywhere else we serve, online or by phone, with one flat price per level. Up to 4 attempts at different times of day within your level's time, with a Saturday attempt when that time includes a Saturday, and a notarized affidavit of service.
Right on the Miami-Dade line
Miramar's southern edge is the county line. A few blocks south, an address is in Miami Gardens or Miami Lakes, in Miami-Dade County and the 11th Circuit. Papers often name the wrong county for addresses near the line.
We check the county for every address and send the job to a server certified there: a 17th Circuit server for Miramar, or our own Miami-Dade server south of the line, at the same price.
Gated communities and business parks
Western Miramar is largely gated communities with guard houses or call boxes. Florida Statutes section 48.031(7) requires a gated residential community, including a homeowners or condominium association, to grant entry to a process server attempting to serve a resident. For companies in the business parks, we serve the registered agent or an officer as Florida law allows and note the reception policy in the attempt log.
Broward circuit and county civil cases are filed at the Broward County Courthouse, 201 SE 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale, and some county matters are heard at the regional courthouses. See our guide to service of process in Broward.
