Join Our Process Server Network

Agera Legal Services is growing beyond Miami-Dade. We are looking for certified and sheriff-appointed process servers in Broward, Palm Beach, Monroe and every other Florida county.

Who we are looking for

  • Process servers who are certified or appointed in the county they serve. In some counties that is the circuit's certified process server program; in others, such as Broward, the sheriff appoints private process servers.
  • People who can make attempts at different times of day, including evenings and Saturdays.
  • A smartphone, a reliable car and careful, honest notes. Every attempt is logged in our field app with the time, a GPS point and a photo.
  • Spanish is a plus.

How it works

  1. Send the form below. We review every application.
  2. We call you to talk about your area, your availability and your rates.
  3. When a job comes in for your county, we send it to you with the papers and the client's notes.
  4. You serve or attempt, log each attempt in the app, and sign your own return of service.
  5. You are paid per job.

Not certified yet?

Apply anyway and choose "In progress" or "Not yet". Each circuit or sheriff sets its own steps, which usually include a background check, training and an exam. The Florida Association of Professional Process Servers lists training and requirements by county.

About Agera Legal Services

Questions from servers

Which counties are you hiring in?

Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe first, and any other Florida county where clients send us papers. Pick every county you can cover on the form.

Do I need to be certified?

To serve, yes: you must be certified or appointed in the county where you serve. You can still apply while that is in progress.

How are servers paid?

Per job, at a rate we agree on when we talk. Payment terms are confirmed before you take your first job.

Who signs the return of service?

You do, for the serves you make. The return states the facts of your service under section 48.21.
