Serving papers in Sunrise
Eastern Sunrise near University Drive and Oakland Park Boulevard, the planned communities west of Flamingo Road, and the commercial area around Sawgrass Mills and the Sawgrass Expressway.
Sunrise is in west-central Broward County, the 17th Judicial Circuit, and every job here goes to one of our process servers certified in that circuit.
Serving someone at work
Sawgrass Mills and the arena district employ thousands of people, and the corporate parks nearby hold large offices with front desks. When a person is hard to find at home, a workplace can be the next option. We only serve a person at work by finding them in person; we do not leave papers with a coworker or a store manager, and we keep the visit discreet.
Gated communities in the west
West Sunrise is mostly planned communities with a guard house or a call box. Florida Statutes section 48.031(7) requires a gated residential community, including a condominium association or a cooperative, to grant a process server unannounced entry to serve a resident. Send the full address, including any unit number, and any gate code or instructions you already have.
The closest courthouse is the West Regional Courthouse, 100 North Pine Island Road, Plantation. Circuit and county civil cases are filed at the Broward County Courthouse, 201 SE 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale. See our guide to service of process in Broward.
