Serving papers in Coconut Creek
The residential communities between Sample Road and Hillsboro Boulevard, the condominiums along Lyons Road, and the shops and offices on the main roads.
Coconut Creek is in north Broward County, the 17th Judicial Circuit, and every job here goes to one of our process servers certified in that circuit.
Mostly gated communities
Much of Coconut Creek is planned communities with a guard house or a call box at the entrance, and condominiums with their own association. Florida Statutes section 48.031(7) requires a gated residential community, including a condominium association or a cooperative, to grant a process server unannounced entry to serve a resident. When a guard calls the resident first, we note it, because it can warn someone who is avoiding service; if that happens, we plan the next attempt at a different time of day.
Shared ZIP codes
Coconut Creek ZIP codes also cover parts of Margate and Coral Springs, so the city on the papers and the city in the ZIP do not always agree. That does not change the service, but we confirm the street address exists before the first trip so no attempt is wasted.
The closest courthouse is the North Regional Courthouse, 1600 West Hillsboro Boulevard, Deerfield Beach. Circuit and county civil cases are filed at the Broward County Courthouse, 201 SE 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale. See our guide to service of process in Broward.
