Serving papers in Poinciana
The residential villages along Poinciana Parkway, Cypress Parkway and Marigold Avenue, from the Osceola side to the Polk side.
Poinciana is an unincorporated community in two counties: part is in Osceola County (9th Judicial Circuit) and part is in Polk County (10th Judicial Circuit). Every job goes to the team member who covers the county the address is actually in; on the Polk side, that is a process server certified in the 10th Judicial Circuit.
One community, two counties
Both ZIP codes, 34758 and 34759, carry the Kissimmee or Poinciana name, but the county line runs through the community, so the papers may come from an Osceola court or a Polk court. We check the county of the street address before the first attempt and tell you if it does not match the court on the papers.
Villages and associations
Poinciana is organized into villages with a shared association. Under Florida Statutes 48.031(1)(a), papers can be left at the person's usual place of abode with someone 15 or older who lives there, after telling them what the papers are.
Osceola County cases are heard at the Osceola County Courthouse in downtown Kissimmee. Polk County cases are heard at the Polk County Courthouse in Bartow, the county seat. Tell us the court and case number with the papers and we write the affidavit for that court.
