Serving papers in Hillsboro Beach
The condominium buildings and oceanfront estates on the barrier island, all reached from State Road A1A.
Hillsboro Beach is in northeast Broward County, the 17th Judicial Circuit, so every job here goes to one of our process servers certified in that circuit.
One road, many front desks
Almost every address in Hillsboro Beach is on A1A, so the building name and unit number matter. Many residents live in condominium buildings with a front desk or a call box. A front desk cannot accept papers for a resident. Florida Statutes section 48.031(7) requires a gated residential community, including a condominium association or a cooperative, to grant a process server unannounced entry to serve a resident.
Seasonal residents
Some owners live here only part of the year. If a unit looks closed for the season, we record what we saw on each attempt and tell you, so you can send another address before more trips are spent.
The closest courthouse is the North Regional Courthouse, 1600 West Hillsboro Boulevard, Deerfield Beach. Circuit and county civil cases are filed at the Broward County Courthouse, 201 SE 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale. See our guide to service of process in Broward.
