Serving papers in Hallandale Beach
The high-rise condominiums on the beach and the Intracoastal, the neighborhoods west of Federal Highway, and the offices, shops and casinos along US 1.
Hallandale Beach is the southeast corner of Broward County, in the 17th Judicial Circuit, and every job here goes to one of our 17th Circuit certified process servers.
Right on the county line
The southern edge of Hallandale Beach is the border with Miami-Dade County: Aventura and Golden Beach are just across it. An address a few blocks south is in a different county and a different circuit. That is not a problem for us, because we have process servers certified in both, but we check the county for every address so the right server goes and the affidavit names the right place.
Towers, front desks and seasonal owners
Many residents live in condominium towers with a front desk, a concierge or a call box, and some units belong to owners who are here only part of the year. A front desk cannot be served in place of the resident. We ask only what the desk can tell us, log every attempt, and tell you if a unit looks empty for the season.
Businesses near Gulfstream Park and along Federal Highway are served through the registered agent or an officer, as Florida law allows. The closest courthouse is the South Regional Courthouse in Hollywood. Circuit and county civil cases are filed at the Broward County Courthouse, 201 SE 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale. See our guide to service of process in Broward.
